new Platz/F-Toys Japanese Construction Vehicles series
It seems the trend for industrial/construction-type vehicles is catching on – Platz (who make many containers) and F-Toys (who make lots of capsule toys with candy in them) have combined to make a ‘Japanese Construction Vehicle’ series.
The set contains 6 items + a secret one. The items are …
- Komatsu PC200-8 Hydraulic shovel

- Komatsu PC200-8 Hydraulic shovel (raised)

- Kato SR-250R Lifter crane

- Kato SR-250R Lifter crane (raised)

- Hino Profia Low-loader with 16 wheel trailer (white)

- Hino Profia Low-loader with 16 wheel trailer (blue)

It appears each item is not movable – that is why there are two versions of each, and I guess you can carry the closed versions of the two on the low-loaders !!!
It is listed as Vol.1, so hopefully there will be more of these
More details here …

These are supposedly due out late June.

I got one box and received the secret silver lifter crane and a standard one (raised) + a stowed one, 2 white & 1 blue low-loaders and two of the shovels.
I’ve just received the complete box set 2 times.
The models are really great; they got many details, look very good and are very realistic.
The models are really much better then the first construction set of Bandai. But not so detailed as the tomytec items. I hope that this will be for a short period of time. I can’t wait for the second release of this firm.
Also the sets where complete with all the 6 items in it including 2 extra items (set box of 8), you do not know witch ones are extra added.
I was fortuned with both sets combined of extra added items:
2 Hino Profia Low-loader,
1 Komatsu PC200-8 Hydraulic shovel
1 Kato SR-250R Lifter crane raised (the SPECIAL EDITION model)
The Special edition of the KATO crane raised is in gray metallic paint. This peace is the most beautiful peace I’ve got.
I hope they will continue to make this kind of beautiful stuff, it s really great.
Hopefully the make the next generation more movable then this set.
Also I hope they gone make more detailed on it such as tomytec items.
We’ve now a really good competitor on the market for tomytec.
Also the European manufactories have to take an example of this kind of constructions and details and also the prices of them.
Well done,
Japanspoor.
