JMTN blog

(Japanese Model Train Newsletter)

100,000 page views !!!

I am pleased to announce this milestone, during only this blog’s second year …

This is particularly pleasing, considering that I have not had a lot of time this year to post as much as I would have liked. Making changes to and getting the ‘Enoshima’ layout ready for exhibitions, and having odd work hours has meant not a lot of spare time for other things. Also the amount of changes that I want/need to make to the layout before it goes to Japan next year will mean that this situation will not improve, other that posts about the layout’s changes.

After starting at the beginning of 2007, there were always over 1,000 views per month. From May 2007, this has risen to over 2,300 per month.  Highest month was April 2009 with 5,948. The stats for the best ever day’s readership is still 732 page views (December 22, 2007). The most popular post by far still is ‘Enoden’ Diorama progress report with 6,511 reads.

The most popular referrer is the ‘1zu160.net’ forum, followed by the ‘kampfgrupper’ blog page. The most popular search terms that landed readers on this blog were ‘truck’, ‘tomytec’, ‘diorama’, ‘hino truck’, ‘nissan diesel’, ‘flatbed truck’ and ‘isuzu giga’.

Along with the 169 posts have been 206 comments, so I am pleased with that, but I would still like to get more feedback from you the reader, so please don’t hesitate to write back about anything you like that relates to a particular post …

Please also note that I have some virtually ‘as-new’ N scale Japanese model trains for sale, as detailed on this page.
