Just announced are the ‘suggested’ releases from MicroAce for November 2007 …

  • A0742 255 series EC 9 car set ‘Shiosai’ (1st type – blue, white & yellow)
  • A2650 Tobu 200 series EC 6 car set ‘Ryoumou’ (early type – red & white)
  • A2651 Tobu 200 series EC 6 car set ‘Ryoumou’ (later type with single arm pantographs – red & white)
  • A2660 213-5000 series EC 2 car powered set (silver with green/orange stripes & black underbody)

  • A2663 213-5000 series EC 2 car un-powered set (silver with green/orange stripes & gray underbody)
  • A2671 Taki11000 series tank car 8 car set ‘Nippon Oil’ (early type with ‘Sunrise’ logo)
  • A2673 Taki11000 series tank car 8 car set ‘Japan Oil Transportation’ (later type)
  • A2675 Taki6150 series tank car 4 car set ‘Nippon Oil’ (with ‘Caltex’ logo)
  • A5012 Tokyo Metro 05 series EC 6 car set (Tozai line – silver with light tan/brown stripes)
  • A5022 Tokyo Metro 05 series EC 4 car add-on (Tozai line – silver with blue stripes)
  • A5072 Tokyo Metro 03 series EC 8 car set (Hibiya line – silver with blue stripes)

I particularly welcome the Hibiya line subway set, as it runs through on the Tokyu Toyoko line, which I model. MicroAce have also done one of the sets that includes their unique 5 door cars. Seeing they are doing many subway line sets, I hope they will do the Asakusa line 5300 series sets, that run through on the Keikyu 🙂

The 213 series is a JR Central version of the 211 series used by JR East.

The Taki6150 is a similar car to the Taki11000, and 4 cars were made in 1967 for transporting paraffin, so MicroAce have modelled the whole fleet 🙂

  1. Thanks tovorinok, although I think you mean ‘blog’ not ‘book’?

  3. And what would you claim to be “the normal MA standards” ???

I don’t see how you can judge a model until it has been released and physically inspected 😆

  4. Hi Doug,

As I model JR Kyushu the latest MA releases will not be of interest. Also they appear not to be up to be the normal MA standards. Still there’s always next month.
