Another new Enoden model from Modemo !!!

But this time it’s REALLY new 🙂

Modemo have jumped over the 10 & 20 series that we all want and yes – it’s the latest model in the Enoshima Railway’s fleet – the NEW500 series, which started operations just last year.

This has been announced for release in November 2007.

  1. Oh, doesn’t this series wear air suspensions at their boggies? Look like coil suspensions… I think I might have gotten this train back in April though

  2. It may be cool to have an Enoden trains in a layout. Wish I can mix one with other types of tram trains though…. Enoden trains need tall platforms but other tram trains need low platforms. Hard to stay together in a track 😦

  3. I saw this mentioned on xxxx – looks like it’s time for a pre-order.

I may be unusual in that I don’t really care for the 10/20 series units – I guess it’s good to have a model of everything, but their new-old styling rings rather hollow on a line which runs a lot of genuinely old stock.

I’m delighted to see the 500 series announced – it’s a really appealing shape and the gold piping is very smart.
