JMTN blog

(Japanese Model Train Newsletter)

80 POSTS & 20,000 PAGE VIEWS !!!!!

Thanks to all the regular readers, my view count topped 20,000 last night 🙂

This blog started at the beginning of 2007, and from the first month has always had over 1,000 views per month. From April this has risen to over 2,00 per month and the highest until now being July with just under 3,000 views. So far I have posted 80 items, and the stats for the best ever day’s readership was 396 page views.

It took from January until June to reach the 10,000 mark (6 months), and in just over 3 months has doubled that 🙂

Unfortunately, along with that has come over 10,300 spam comments, but WordPress & Akismet have done a great job in not letting 99.99% of them get though.

Along with the 80 posts have been just 70 comments, but I would like to get more feedback from you the reader, so please don’t hesitate to write back to make observations about anything you like that relates to a particular post, or ask questions etc etc …

Thanks go to the many online sources that help provide the information that I use, as well as Excite for the translations and Rail Craft Awaza for a lot of the pictures.

  3. Congratulations!
Its always hard with new blog watching it grow and nuturing it – at the back of our mind you wonder if it is all worth it and only you and your mate are looking at it?

in time, the “views” grow, and I found not being to caught up on the mumber, but fasicnated by the number of different countries that people read it from!

the crowning glory was when my Japanese Readership exceeded that of all other nations – A real “selling snow to eskimos moment!”

    keep up the good work!
