New Tomytec items for June 2008

Tomytec have just announced 2 new items for release in June …

  • The first release is #24 in the People Collection – a set of 12 ‘Shrine People’. It includes a chief priest & 2 shrine maidens, people washing themselves in purifying water, families attending a 7-5-3 celebration and married couples praying for good fortunes 😆

The set is just the 12 figures, with no alternate variations available.

  • The second release is a set of typical narrow Japanese city houses. There are 2 styles, with 2 variations in each style.

Variation A is a 3 floor house with a peaked tile roof and a parking space for 1 car. There is a verandah on the 2nd floor.

Variation B is a 3 floor house with a flat iron roof and a difficult-looking sideways parking space for 1 car !!!

The base size of each is 4 x 5.5cm, and the order quantity for these is in sets of 4 (i.e. one of each as you see above).

The deadline for orders for these two items is FEBRUARY 22 !!!!

  1. model ‘A’ looks like a typical modern beach house in the USA

  2. The sideways parking space looks easier than the real thing, as there is neither a wall across half the opening, nor 2 or 3 bicycles leaning against the house. Of course, you could remedy both oversights during installation on a layout. 🙂
